A-OK, the brainchild
of Central Michigan
University student David Seger, is a collaborative effort
amongst friends to make videos. Lots of videos. Started
by David Seger and Delbert Shoopman in the Fall of 2004 under
the name "I'm Okay, You're Okay Productions," the organization
produced two television shows for CMU's campus cable station
MHTV, won five times at Filmfights.com, and produced countless
other films, experimental videos, and vidblogs. Most of
these videos are archived on this site.
During the summer of 2005,
a multitude of problems brought the I'm Okay, You're Okay
domain and organization to its knees. It had tripped over
itself and was too embarrassed to get back up again. It
was time to make a change, and A-OK was born. A-OK is cleaner,
sexier, more productive, less
mess.
A-OK
is
a frame
of mind.
A-OK
is an ever-changing group of individuals constantly trying
to learn more and have fun with the visual arts.
A-OK is currently producing
a sketch comedy show for MHTV, a feature-length zombie film,
and is putting finishing touches on the 40-minute short:
Eritheia.
